New. Years

bleh.

this year flew by SO FREAKING QUICKLY

like really, i felt like it just started, or it was just my birthday or summer or WHATERRR

weeellll as per tradition, my recap of 2012!

JAN

2012 started out as any other year. LAME

january through march is the worst time of the year

ummm well, probably the best part of the month was preference

it is still my all time favorite dance

i had a lot of drama that month, and a lot of sadness

typical january

hopefully this one will be better!

FEB

february, as always, is filled to the brim with choir

we have the fundraiser concert, and then we have to prepare for festival and tour

i was in conbrio, and we did diamonds are a girls best friend for the concert

it was then when i realized that it was 1024380234 times better for me to be in conbrio than it was for me to be in acapella

i absolutely loved that concert, and i am so grateful i was in the choir i was in (:

on a side note, if anyone wants tickets for my concert in february, i have some!

february also brought valentines day, which utterly sucked, as usual

aaaaaaaaaaaaaand yeah moving on

MARCH, MARCH, MARCH

march can be summed up in one phrase: the gym

i swear i was at the gym every. single. day.

i performed in regional solo ensamble

spent hours working on my lab notebook in biotech

went to H&M

performed at BYU and tripped on stage

as my brothers say, i was given 2 parts voice, and 1/2 part coordination

Ay pril

my birthday! tour! prom! oh my!

april was fantastic (:

during spring break, my choir headed up to san diego for tour

it was aaamazing

i got asked to prom while driving home from san diego

i went with my friend tohi, and i had the PERFECT dress ever!

my birthday was on the same day as prom, which kind of sucked, but ya know, whaterrr

May!

ugh. may.

it was a month full of finals, tests, projects and more

it was also my last concert with conbrio

we sang breakaway, and i made a slide show to go with it, and it took me forever

it looked freaking beautiful though

may was also filled with fun things!

i went to my good friend corbin's birthday party

i actually got a yearbook and had it signed

i went to morp with a kid a had a FREAKING huge crush on

i got kidnapped and found out that i made it into chamber!

got my first ever pedicure

aaaaaaaaand school got out

it was fabulous (:

JOON

ahhh june.

it brought about my lovely trip to mexico

it was absolutely perfect, and just what i needed after a long, hard year

i also got the chance to go see the Manti pageant with the young women, which was really cool

cross country started!

JULY

ehhhh. this was probably the most boring month of the year

i ran a lot, tanned a lot, and swam a lot

(did i just use assonance?)

and girls camp

and a 2nd degree burn on my stomach from tanning

im still tan there so thats cool

awwww gust

school started

my last year of high school

its still weird!

i started to go to pharmacy tech

i went on a date to trafalga and drove on the wrong side of the road

went thrifting for the first time with meggy

i started yearbook and chamber, and i completely love both of them

i dyed my hair black

i went tubing

i made my very first acapella poster!

i made my senior year bucket list, which i am doing very well on FYI

got asked to homecoming

went to a couple football games

it was a great start to senior year (:

Sept tem ber

was great!

it is a blur of fantastic new clothes

i experienced my first night of insomnia (i woke up at 2 and fell asleep again at 6)

i waitressed for the UVU scholarship ball, which was fun and also horrid

we had college day and i got free food from taco bell

homecoming!

Octoburrrr

i photographed a volleyball game for the first time

i went to my last first morning side of the year

i got the stomach flu the same night that my grandma died

i went to her funeral

we had a family lunch during general conference at my grandma's house

i photographed a cross country race

i went on a trip to Logan to visit USU with haley and kline

i had a classic and very stressful week before the end of the term but pulled out a 4.0

my first choir concert of the year was great!

took the ACT

aaaaaaaand stayed at home all night by myself on Halloween

NOvember

was ehhhhhhh

went to MATC

went to sadies, which was way fun

started going to spin class again

i definitely didnt participate in no shave november

thanksgiving

black friday shopping (YEYEAAHH)

found out i got a 30 on the ACT

Deceeeember 

this month. 

yeeesh 

Chamber performed with the Utah Lyric Opera 

we also went to temple square 

and had our Christmas concert

and performed in the Christmas assembly 

and learned our Valentunes

wow. a lot of choir

uhm. it was also christmas, which was cool

it snowed a TON 

i rekindled a few friendships

i went to temple square with adam and jake and tj 

my bff jadon got baptized (:

i watched a TON of movies

and ate a lot of snow slushies 

aaaand i got caught up in this thing that may or may not be a boy

no one knows about it except for me, my mom, and lauren vancott because she saw me with this person.

i guess this year has been pretty good to me (:

hello my lovelies

the past few days have been fantastic (:

Ive been in a crazy whirlwind that may or may not involve a boy and that i may or may not tell you about

lets just say that i am finally feeling something good after two and a half years of highschool crap

also, i have developed this weird love for running on the treadmill

yesterday i ran 5 miles without stopping and barely getting tired

im working on developing my new years resolutions

this has been, without a doubt, the best christmas break of my life

also, i think i have found a solution to my picture problem!

Highliiiiiights arent just for your hair

Hello my friends! Im very sorry that i havent been posting lately, the lack of pictures kind of makes me not want to post :(

Well, a lot of stuff has happened over the past like, three weeks

Since its late, ill just write the highlights (:

- the christmas choir concert was a huge success!
- went to the golden corral for dinner with the young womens
- got cafe rio
- worked on the yearbook and submitted 4 pages!
- found out that i wasnt the english sterling scholar
- visited my grandpas grave with my family
- hung out with adam (twice!)
- wrote an english paper
- sang in the christmas assembly
- auditioned for a solo piece in the fundraising concert
- went to a 2 1/2 hour long city council meeting
- took my pharmacy tech finals and got A's on both of them
- got my USU acceptance letter and scholarship letter in the mail
- saw the Hobbit
- got completely stoked for the Host to come out ( IN MARCH )
- went christmas shopping with Nikki
- got retweeted by single probs on twitter
- got the new taylor swift CD
- had an amazing christmas
- went on a crazy journey around town asking people to preference with my valentunes group
- got my mom the perfect present
- got my new les miserable music
- actually got a surprise present on christmas! It was an ipod dock. I put it on my wish list as a far fetched fantasy that i assumed wouldnt happen ( like a smart phone ) and i was completely surprised when i got one!
- went to the gym and did the elliptical for the first time. It sucked.
- went on a date where i was the only senior
- ate waaaaaayyyy too much

All in all, it has been the best christmas break of my whole life!

im really sorry i havent posted in so long!

i really hope that someone cares hahahah

ummm well, it appears that i have reached my limit on pictures that i can upload, so unless i pay for more storage each month i cant post pictures anymore (unless they are small and crappy)

i guess its probably a good thing, because i feel like my blog was more about bragging about what little life i have and i haven't really even written anything.

OKAY.

the highlights of the past two weeks?

umm chamber performed in an opera down in provo

it was a great experience and i am really glad that i got to go
we were up in the balcony while singing our part and it was beautiful!

we also went to brick oven and ate dinner

they boys gave us letters that they all signed and complimented us on 

they came at the perfect time because i looked horrid that day i knew it. 

so yeah, chamber is fantastic (:

ummm ive just been going to school, then going to night school, and watching tons of shows, and memorizing lots of drugs. 

ugh. i have a ton of outfit pictures that i cant post 

it sucks! 

well, i got an instagram!

i originally got an instagram just so i could see the mountain views real flyest page

it infuriates me that women are reduced to ratings and pictures

i know that i would never be on a page like that, and thats not what makes me mad

the girls at my school are being degraded and judged based on their looks, which none of us can control, and it disgusts me. 

but any way, i like instagram quite a bit

on wednesday my choirs and i went up to temple square. 

it was awesome, but mostly it was tiring

and i was stuck in my chamber dress all day

that thing is so tight on me. 

the bus ride home kind of sucked. i literally sat alone and talked to no one the whole ride home because meg was asleep

it was so weird. the night was black and it was like i was in my own little dark blue bubble surrounded by red and pink swirling noise. 

yeah. sometimes i am deep (:

on friday, my mom and i went up to salt lake to celebrate my 30 on the ACT

we stopped at the new outlets

then we passed scheels

then we went to the rack 

then we went up to city creek

two things. 

1. it makes me kind of sad that we have all of these huge places to shop in utah/salt lake valley

it just seems so unnecessary and a little wasteful 

maybe its not, but still, i kind of dont like it 

moving on! 

we went to the roof for dinner

if you dont know what the roof is, its this super expensive, incredibly delish buffet on top of the joseph smith building in temple square with an amazing view of the temple 

i think i gained ten pounds

on saturday morning, my friend jadon got baptized

it was perfect (:

well i think i will go now (:

maybe tomorrow i will see if i can post some more pictures!
