well... im finally home!!!!!!! ive pretty much been gone for 3 weeks straight! so i went to this really pretty place in idaho called coeur d'alene. it so pretty there! if youve seen grown ups, its kind of a place like that, except warmer and with a lot more tourists. i had the grandest time! i didnt take any pictures, we only used nikkis camera, cause its water proof. we even took underwater pictures! but we DID jump off of a cliff!! it was so freaking scary! but i did it twice(: and there was this boy there, who was coaxing me and nicole to jump off. he kept talking to us. and hitting on us. and then we found out he was almost thirteen. ahaahahaha i laughed so hard!!! then he kinda backed away, and stopped talking to us. it was hilarious. there is a video on fb of me jumping! if you are my friend then you can see, but if you arent then toooo bad for you! another funny thing. the families we were staying with brought their dogs, and so nikki and i walked them. and EVERY single time we went out, a boy would talk to us, or wistle at us. but when we didnt have dogs, no one would talk to us. it was crazy! buuut yeah. one day, we were walking to get lunch, and we saw this guy who had a snake! and he let me hold it and it was so cool! i love snakes, unlike most girls who hate them(: our room also had a skylight, so i got to look at the stars while inside. everything about that trip was just perfect(: uuuuhhhhmm. i am totally spacing right now. mostly we just walked around, and read books on the beach, and tanned, and went on the boat. oh! i babysat alot. and made BANK. and hung out with my favorite australian Tim. and ate sushi. and got hit on my our nineteen year old neighboors. it was a fantastic vacation. we also found this soda machine. that has over 100 different flavors in the one machine. it looked like a vending machine, but with one tap in the very middle and nothing else. it was the coolest thing ever. it was pretty much just relaxing and unwinding and preparing to go to school! it starts in THREE FREAKING WEEKS!!! oh. my. gosh. i just realized this. that freaks me out! that means my first cross country race is in two weeks. oh geez. thats scary! i dont even school clothes! or supplies! oh wow. okay. anyway... um. pictures! the better ones will come when nikki gets home from sea camp. not that these ones arent great. they are! but we took underwater picures, and snake pictures, and pictures from our super fun all nighter on thursday night. we went to walmart at midnight. it was as full as normal stores are in the daytime. kay pictures

AHHH hello! so im finally home for more than 12 hours! so. last week was camp. can i just say? it was freaking great. i was a ycl (youth camp leader) this year, and we were in charge of everything! like really. everything. it was really fun though. i didnt spend the whole week with only one person this year. and i met a lot of our ward and made tons more friends. spiritually, it was amazing. we had a great faith walk that i had to sing in. i was so nervous! but everyone said i did great, not that i believe them (: okay. so here is something for my "wonderful" leader, sister baugh. she was out to get me the whole week, i swear. she sprayed me with silly string, dumped water on me. filled up my plate with eggs that i hate, and gave me waayyy too much water when i asked for hot chocolate. i promised her i would write about her evilness on my blog. she got the 'haley hunter' award because she picked on me! it was okay though. it hailed three times in one day. crazy. utah weather is super bipolar. so i took a picture of myself everyday, to document how gross we get throughout camp.

By the end of camp, we all look terrible. i also got heat exauhstion at camp. it was after the hike, and i, like an idiot, didnt drink any water or eat anything. i also read for like 2 hours in my super hot cabin. so by time the faith walk came around, i was drained and hot and my stomach hurt and i was shaky. but i got food and water and a ride in a truck and i felt better.
so yeah.

hellooo(: last night i had a sleepover with nikki, and she came with me to cross country! we made a fort and slept in it, and made smores with fire from the stove. it was awesome(: we ate asian salad for breakfast, and i ate sushi for lunch. it has been a good food day.

so. yesterday. was super fun! my day started off going running up the canyon. the trail was heck. it was dirt and rocks and HILLS. my poor shins were killing. after the run, the six people brave enough to run went to mckenna's house and made super good smoothies. srsly. they were delish. mostly because her blender made them really smooth and soft. my blender doesnt do that. anyways. i went to my grandmas birthday at my cousin madi's house. we were there for six hours. crazy. me and madi had a fun time on facebook and talking about her boyfriend(: i asked my gma how old she was, and she said 39. i have no idea how old she is. after that party, i went to my cross country buddy's 16th birthday party! there were oodles of people there! including three people that i really didnt want to be there... but hey! it was still way fun(: me, nicole, tanner, jesse and kika hung out. it was realllyyy fun. except i got tons more mosquito bites. what can i say? bugs love me (im on my cool j. ha i bet nobody will figure out what thats from) ummmm. today. i went to my dad's friend's son's farewell. it was pretty cool. ive never been to one before. there was this party thing after, and there was an ATTRACTIVE guy there. like really. blonde hair and blue eyes in a suit. it doesnt get better than that (:
any ways. im going to nikkis for a sleepover. shes coming with me to cross country tomorrow! finally!
heelooooo. soo. my week. has been pretty fun(: i ranged on wednesday and tuesday. me and julia were in the same car both times. we had a freaking blast. i ran into lots of cones, mostly because she was distracting me with news. that im not allowed to share because its a secret. but super exciting news(:

yesterday i got to go shop at the nordstroms half yearly sale. that starts next week. i got to go look at all the new clothes that were marked down, and buy stuff before the general population could. AND since im on the fashion board, i got 15 % off of everything that i bought. it was so boss. when we got up to the registers, the lady that hadnt been helping us told us that they decided not to do the discount anymore, but since we already knew about it that we could get it. i was the only one in the whole group that got a discount(: my mom said it was a tithing blessing. awww yeaahhhh
less see. today in cross country we ran the forest run. it was awesome and i did really good! not to brag or anything.. but yeah. i am getting better. also. someone stole my mp3. sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. they left my headphones though. interesting right? right. soo if you see it, give it to me. mmmmmk bye(:
sooo today(: i woke up at 7:17 for xc. i usually wake up at 7:05. i also didnt feel good, plus i got up waayyy to fast. so i felt like crap as i went to cross country. but i still went. and i ran really well. i didnt have to stop at all. after xc i went to nikkis. we went to get her homecoming dress. silly girl. homecoming is in two months. thats scary. i really hope i get asked, but i think i wont. ohhh weeeellll. so less see. we hung out with Joe and Sam. we went to jamba juice and then went bowling. and guess who won? MEEE!! i dominated by over 20 points. and the whole time nicole was trash talking me and saying that she was gunna win. but i won(: me and nikki walked to blockbuster, then got two pizzas that i had to carry home. it was delish(: any who. the real reason i wanted to post is because of the rainstorm that is coming down. it is literally raining like a shower outside. and there is tons of lighting. and it keeps coming closer to our house. scary? yes.

hellooo(: so here i am. at 12:30 p.m. with cross country in 7 hours. but i cant sleep so i am posting. something is making me mad. EFY. what? umm random? yes. let me explain. so EFY should be all about spiritual enlightenment right? thats why i wanted to go this year (but nikki got the email and missed the deadline). because a whole week with new kids, and learning about a bunch of stuff that is actually interesting to the youth would be excellent. it would be like girls camp when you get to shower. plus people of the opposite gender. it sounds amazing. so whats bothering me? boys go there to get girls. i have heard a billion and a half stories about 'this girl that i met at EFY'. its freaking stupid. first of all, EFY is to better yourself. not to hook up with a bunch of sluts. right? you would think that? well, boys are all idiots. the best girls (supposedly) go to EFY. so boys go to pick up on them. i could be totally off. but freaking heck. EFY is not hosting teenage hormone fun time. it just pisses me off. and idiot girls that actually believe that a boy they just met will be with them forever because they met at EFY. i have heard this story too. its all just crap.

today was July Fourth. yesterday my family celebrated it by eating chinese food. were cool. today, our family went over to our friend Ernies house. we go there every year. we eat hamburgers, and have lots of soda, and set off fireworks. its always really fun(:
the fourth of july represents a lot of things. i think the freedom i am most grateful for is freedom of religion. i love how we can believe what we want and not get arrested for it. now, i just wish we could take it a step further and have people actually respect what you believe, instead of saying that its "an excuse so that you dont have to do things you are too scared to do". dont you just love how people think that they know what you believe, when they refuse to learn about it at all? and act like you are an idiot for believing that, when they dont even know the extent of your religion?

sooo.. i havent been on for a while. mostly because i have been too lazy to post(: so this summer has been amazing so far. i went to seven peaks on monday, but i didnt get fried, because this time i actually wore sunscreen! it was really fun, and i cant wait to go back(: ive been playing a lot of video games lately. acutally only one. its called SSX tricky, and i discovered that we had it. its a snowboarding game, and freaking addicting. so yeah. i skipped xc twice this week. im so bad. i ran in the rain on thursday though! i can check that off of my bucket list! it was great(: yesterday i drove on state street for the first time. did i die? nope. did i crash? nope. did anyone even honk at me? nope!!! i was so happy! i also went ranging on thursday. well, i pre ranged. so i sat and watched other people drive for an hour, and then i got to drive. mr. hymas thinks its really funny to pick on me. i was on one of the hardest drills, and i went outside of the lines once, and he says "SORENSEN! STAY INSIDE THE LINES!" over the radio, so everyone heard it. people were hitting cones, and he said nothing. he picks on me. ummmm. so today i watched beastly. and can i just say, the main character lindy reminds me of myself. she is freaking tough, but also a romantic. she loves sappy love letters, and wants to uncover the nice in a jerk of a boy. it was weird. she totally reminds me of myself.
